n711 gsm-gprs-edge reference designWe now license our market-proven GSM/GPRS/EDGE modem reference design to OEM customers. The N711 design combines baseband processor, RF transceiver, antenna switch and power management components to support quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE functionality including voice, enhanced data and SMS capabilities.

The solution dramatically shortens time-to-market, and includes all hardware information, software binaries including stack, production test bench design and test software, certification, training and documentation. The result is a wireless,  ultra-compact, low power communications solution which is easily integrated into consumer, industrial and automotive OEM designs, ready for high-volume mass-production.

Typical N711 applications include smartphones, remote automation and control (RMAC), wireless data transmission, mobile internet devices, surveillance and security systems.

The N711 wireless reference design is offered via Neonseven S.p.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of u-blox AG.
